Giving Tuesday 2023: Help IAW Build Out the Mobile Welding Lab!

With your help, we can raise $5K to build out IAW’s new Mobile Welding Lab and unlock matching gifts from IAW's Board!! IAW acquired a F550 utility truck, plus all the necessary welding and metal working equipment (courtesy of Allegheny County and our CDBG grant) to create a Mobile Welding Lab that can travel to schools and other sites in Allegheny County. But we can’t just load the equipment in the truck. We need a custom installation to hold equipment securely and have it ready for welding demonstrations for students. We also need to install a generator for electrical power. With a Mobile Welding Lab and partnerships with schools, IAW will be able to work with more students, where they are, and at a time convenient for them. A Mobile Welding Lab is IAW's next stage of growth as we seek to have a greater impact on high school students in Allegheny County.
